Goldia Wells

Goldia Inez Wells, 96, of Maud, Texas, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, in a local nursing home. Ms. Wells was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Redwater, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Maud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Wells. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Susan Harris and James and Belinda Harris of Maud; five grandchildren, Gerald Harris, Chuck Harris, Stephanie Halford, Marie Stroman and Jennifer Ashmore; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Maud, with Danny Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
