Mrs. Renita Karen Johnson Foster, age 63, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home.  Mrs. Foster was born October 1, 1954 in Richwood, West Virginia, and had lived most of her life in Texarkana. She was retired from the Arkansas Department of Health and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Karen was a lively, energetic spirit who loved game nights on the patio, trips to the ocean, spending time outdoors, and loving on her fur babies. She played piano beautifully, and the music soothed her soul, but more than anything in the world, Karen loved her family and friends, and loved spending time with those closest to her - especially her loving husband, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Johnnie Johnson; a sister, Beth Johnson; and a brother, Chris Johnson. Karen is survived by her devoted husband, John "Buddy" Foster of Texarkana, Arkansas; one daughter, Christie Wells of Texarkana, Arkansas; one son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Nicki Wells of Texarkana, Arkansas; two bonus daughters and their husbands, Shanan and Dean Snellings of Lindale, Texas and Shawn and Chad Abernathy of Bossier City, Louisiana; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Wayne Green of Texarkana, Arkansas and Brenda and Richard Stone, of Mena, Arkansas; three grandsons, Kaden Wells, Nicholas Wells, and Drake Dunn; three granddaughters, Kayse Cartwright, Emily Weitzel, and Isabella Weitzel, and one great-grandson, Cylis Cartwright and seventeen nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Reed officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.  Memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society, 1301 S.
