DE QUEEN, Ark.—Lonnie Gene Willmon, 71, of Gillham, Ark., died Monday, March 12, 2018, in Ashdown, Ark. Mr. Willmon was born Aug. 25, 1946, in De Queen. He was a street superintendent at the city of De Queen and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Terri Avery Willmon of Gillham; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Freda and Don Arndt of Gillham and Linda Gail Daniel and Houston Barton of Texarkana, Texas; one niece, Michelle Mourney; and one nephew, Steven Daniel. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Shane Haarmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Cossatot Cemetery. Online registration is at wilkersonfuneralhomes.com.
