Glenda McGough

Glenda Joyce Wilson McGough of Texarkana, Texas passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at a Dallas hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. McGough was born in Gladewater, Texas to Glenn and Vera Wilson. She attended Kilgore College and later traveled to Newbury, England to marry the love of her life, Dr. Joe McGough. They lived in England for two years before returning to the United States and settling down in Texarkana. She was an active member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in- law, Michael and Pat McGough, one daughter, Laura McGough, one sister Dorothy Sue Spruell, two grandsons, Ben McGough and Dan McGough and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside ceremony will be held at the Laneburg Cemetery in Laneburg, Arkansas on Friday, March 23rd at 2 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St Luke's United Methodist ChurchinTexarkana.
