FRANCES ALVIS

LINDEN, Texas—Frances S. Alvis, 97, of Linden died Thursday, March 22, 2018. Mrs. Alvis was born April 13, 1920, in Munich, Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Alvis; and one daughter, Karen Alvis. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Cindy Alvis of Colleyville, Texas; and two grandchildren, Austin Alvis of Denton, Texas, and Hayley Alvis of Colleyville. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Union Hill Cemetery with Doug Freeman officiating. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.
