MORRIS NEIGHBORS
Morris A. Neighbors, 92, of Atlanta, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in an Atlanta hospital.
Mr. Neighbors was born March 27, 1926, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a retired barber and postal service worker, former real estate broker and notary public, and a member of Honey Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two sons, Morris Eugene Neighbors and Terric Neighbors; and two daughters, Marsha Neighbors and Cynthia Neighbors-Aubrey.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Jiles Neighbors of Atlanta; three sons, Melvin Neighbors, Melvin Byron Neighbors and Timothy Muldrew of Texarkana; four daughters, Brenda C. Moore and Valencia Gail Arterberry of Texarkana, Dorethea Marlette Boyce of Clarksville, Texas, and Cassandra Neighbors of DeKalb, Texas; 24 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Haynes Mortuary with the Rev. Bryni Hampton officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
