De QUEEN, Ark.—Ricky Duard James, 71, of De Queen died Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. James was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Horatio, Ark. He was an X-ray technician with De Queen Medical Center, an engineer for D&E TO&E and a member of De Queen Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one son, Brian James. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Roberson James of De Queen; one son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Candid James of De Queen; one daughter and son-in-law, Renee James and Joe Denson of De Queen; one brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Linda James of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Dierks City Cemetery with Toney Stowers officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
