MARY QUALLS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Mary Qualls, 88, of Avinger, Texas, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Ms. Qualls was born Oct. 15, 1930, in Hughes Springs. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Avinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Lee Qualls; and two children, Darrel Ray Qualls and Tony Lee Qualls. Survivors include three children and two spouses, Connie Qualls and David Amox, Terry Qualls and Ralph Johns and Gail Qualls Hatcher; three siblings, Lloyd Rhyne, Treba Scott and Elaine Spence; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Avinger Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Online registration is at reeder-davis.com.
