Dorothy Elizabeth Alexander passed away on 4/12/2019 in Texarkana, TX after a long battle with Supra Nuclear Palsy with Parkinson's Syndrome. She was born 9/13/1927 in Columbus, OH. Throughout her life she maintained a simple and sweet demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by witness of constant nurturing, love, and a strong faith in Christ and all of his teachings. Until her disease became disabling, her favorite pastimes were cooking, entertaining, playing the piano, singing, gardening, and bowling. Although she will be greatly missed by all, Ms. Dorothy's signature gift of joy—shown through her smile, laughter, and joking around—will never be forgotten. She is survived by a sister, Eleanor Stafford of Belleville, KA; two sons and one daughter, Dennis Morr of Genoa, AR, Pamela Randall of Ingelside, TX, & Stephen and Cathleen Hargrave of Texarkana, TX; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. No service will be scheduled at this time, due to one last act of selflessness: Ms. Dorothy chose to donate her body to science in hopes the continued study regarding her disease will help others. The family would like to thank Hospice of Texarkana for all the love, care, and support during her time of need, and give a special thank you to all of her personal caregivers, who had an impeccable impact on her well-being and quality of life. As Ms. Dorothy would say, "You know who you are." "CONSIDER YOURSELVES HUGGED TOO-DA-LOO!"
