NAPLES, Texas—Vera Fay Hall, 88, of Omaha, Texas, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Mrs. Hall was born July 26, 1930, in Omaha, Texas. She was retired from Paul H. Pewitt School District, past Worthy Matron of Omaha Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star, former PTA president and a former Sunday School teacher and member of First Baptist Church, Omaha. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Hall, in 1995. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Deborah and Mark Miller of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Donna Burchett of Pryor, Okla., Kay and Don Forrest of Omaha and Toni and Pat Sherburne of Moore, Okla.; one son and daughter-in-law, Kim and Heather Hall of Pittsburg, Texas; one brother, C.W. Forsyth of Omaha; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Keith Lauter and Glenn Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Omaha Cemetery under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Omaha, building fund. Online registration is at harrisonfuneralhome.com.
