PIRLEY CROSSLAND

Pirley Mae Crossland, 78, of Hooks, Texas, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, in a local hospital. Ms. Crossland was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Foreman, Ark. She was employed with Red River Army Depot, NAFS and Pickett Foods and a member of Burns Church of Christ, Hooks. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Donna and Jimmy James and Erica Crossland of Hooks; three brothers, Otis L. Hooks of Fort Worth, Texas, Odell Hooks of Columbus, Ohio, and Ray Charles Hooks of Hooks; three sisters, Bertha Gregory of Gardenia, Calif., and Lillie Mae Johnson and Helen Rowden of Hooks; one granddaughter, Mikayla Lynn James of Hooks. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Atlanta Street Church of Christ with Bobby Rowden officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
