IDABEL, Okla.—Wanda Ruth Conaway, 87, of McCurtain County, Okla., died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, in Broken Bow, Okla. Mrs. Conaway was born Nov. 22, 1931, in Idabel. She was a former secretary with Valliant Schools and District 3 County Commissioner's Office and a member of Slim Church of Christ Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Conaway; and one stepson, John Conaway. Survivors include one son, Billy Conaway of Idabel; one stepdaughter, Brenda Schultz of Hill City, S.D.; one brother, Jimmie Browning of Idabel; three grandchildren, Chess Carter of Wright City, Okla., William Cade Conaway of Idabel and Liam Paul Conaway of Broken Bow; and a number of other relatives.
