MELVIN LUKER
HOPE, Ark.—Melvin Luker, 84, of Hope died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, in Hope.
Mr. Luker was born May 8, 1934, in Selma, Ala. He was owner-operator of cattle and poultry farms, a former employee of Dow Chemical Co. and a member of Shover Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Bobo Luker of Hope; three sons, Paul Luker of Memphis, Tenn., Charlton Luke of Hope and Terrance Luker of Sesto Calende, Italy; two daughters, Pam Angermiller of Knippa, Texas, and Tonja Luker Hays of Texarkana; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a lifelong friend, Richard Davis.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Terrance Luker officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery, Spring Hill, Ark.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
