MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas—Lachecka Ratishia Mente Galloway, 42, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. Ms. Galloway was born July 28, 1976. She attended First Emmanuel Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs. Survivors include one son, Nakahless Dunlap of Sulphur Springs; three daughters, Kemerosha Galloway, Moasia Thomas and Fantasia Thomas of Sulphur Springs; her father, Curtis Galloway Sr. of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Curtis Galloway Jr. of Sulphur Springs; one sister, Pamela Rockwell of Mount Pleasant; one granddaughter, Lovely Ann Dunlap of Tyler, Texas; one special friend, Tonya Griffin of McKinney, Texas; three nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cypress Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs, with the Rev. D.K. Young officiating. Burial will be in Denton Cemetery under direction of Tumey Mortuary.
