James (Jim) Lee Sanders II, 76, was born on January 17, 1942, in Abilene. Jim was heading home to his beloved Texas when he took his final breath in Frankfurt, Germany on December 23, 2018, to be with his Lord and Savior, who he has dedicated the last 40 years serving. He is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Sanders Kazen, and parents James Lee and Virginia Sanders. Jim graduated from Texas High School in 1960 and survived Watty Meyers football regime. He continued his education as a Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '64 with a degree in agronomy. An ardent football fan, Jim brought his family from around the world to experience the last Thanksgiving Day game against the longhorns. He leaves behind a legacy of healing and preaching the mercy and grace of God in Jesus Christ; believing all people should hear the gospel even through his personal sacrifice. Worth; Rachel Sanders McEwan (Darrell) of Toowoomba, Australia; Nathan Alexander Sanders of Brisbane, Australia, and Sarah Tamara Sanders of Grapevine formally from Brisbane, Australia.
