JIMMY RAY HUBBS

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Jimmy Ray Hubbs, 76, of New Boston died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at his home. Mr. Hubbs was born Aug. 27, 1942, in New Boston. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and also was a National Guard and Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Carol Hubbs of New Boston; one son, Chris Alan; one daughter, Jimmie Carol; three stepdaughters, Shannon Colleen Bucher of Cobb, Calif., Kimberly Christine Bokum of Vacaville, Calif., and Wendy Charlene Swartzell of Garland, Texas; one brother, William Boyd Hubbs of Queen City, Texas; one sister, Thelma Allene Hubbs of New Boston; seven grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Old Salem Cemetery with Corey Espinoza officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
