Melinda Robinson

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Melinda Robinson, 54, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Robinson was born May 22, 1964, in Greenfield, Ind. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Robinson. Survivors include two daughters, Joyceanna Tidwell of New Boston and April Robinson of Texarkana, Texas; two sons, Roy Robinson of Greenfield, Ind., and Ronnie Robinson of Lufkin, Texas; her father, Bob Garner of Fortville, Ind.; four brothers, Bobby Garner, Melvin Garner and Greg Garner of Fortville and Chris Garner of Attica, Ind.; one sister, Teresa Simonton of Covington, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services were held Jan. 13 at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home, with Todd Reed officiating, and burial in Malta Cemetery. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
