ATLANTA, Texas—Ruby Crawford, 84, of McLeod, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, in a Tyler, Texas hospital. Mrs. Crawford was born April 28, 1934, in Cass County, Texas. She was a retired secretary with McLeod Tabernacle, a seamstress and a former member of McLeod ISD School Board. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Charles McKnight of McLeod, Cathy and Robert Malone of Tioga, La., and Jo Ann and Randall Pitts of Duncan, Okla.; two brothers, William Long of Augusta, S.C., and the Rev. Lindsay Long of Longview, Texas; two sisters, Bessie Solomon of Axtel, Texas, and Anna Edwards of Marshall, Texas; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McLeod Tabernacle with J.P. Story, Randall Pitts, Joe Shaw and the Rev. Lindsay Long officiating. Burial will be in Good Exchange Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorials may be made to McLeod Tabernacle, P.O.
