JERRY LEE SR.

DeKALB, Texas—Jerry W. Lee Sr., 65, of Bogata, Texas, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at his home. Mr. Lee was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Clarksville, Texas. He was a retired truck driver and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry W. Lee Jr. Survivors include his wife, Janice Lee of Bogata; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Stacy Long of Texarkana and Lisa and John Harlow of Galveston, Texas; his mother, Martha Duffee of Bogata; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Cindy Lee of Manchester, N.H.; one sister and brother-in-law, Becky Lee and Wayne Ward of Queen City, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 5 p.m. today at Bates Family Funeral Home with Bobby Wages officiating. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery, Avery, Texas. Online registration is at batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
