John Stanley Jr., 83, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at his home. Mr. Stanley was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Mississippi. Survivors include his wife, Susan Stanley of Texarkana; one son, James Morris of Texarkana; four sisters, Jo Ann Jeffery, Wanda Richardson, Linda Davis and Carry Stanley of Texarkana; two brothers, Thomas Stanley and Sam Stanley of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Full Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Matthew Bracknell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
