GERALDINE MARTIN

Geraldine Oline Martin, 95, of De Kalb, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at a local care facility. Geraldine was born September 15, 1923 to Claud and Eula Burgess Burkett. She was retired from Texas Instruments and was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Aubrey Burkett, Lavaughn Burkett, and Alvin Lawrence Burkett; and one sister, Christine Burkett Martin. She is survived by twelve nieces and nephews and numerous other family members and friends. Services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas with Bro. Harold D. Lambert officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas. Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
