Charlsie CLIFTON

Charlsie (Monk) Barlow Clifton, age 91, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 in a local care facility. She was born on October 9, 1927 in Fouke, AR to Charlie and Alice Barlow. She is best remembered for working in the cafeteria at LEISD and being a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis J. Clifton and her daughter, Diane Crosswhite. Survivors include Curtis and Vickie Clifton, son and daughter-in-law; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. The family will friends at Chapelwood Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 2 PM with Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the staff's at Waterton Plaza and Heritage Home Health and Hospice for their sincere care.
