Myra BURGESS

Myra Jaynell Burgess, 72, of DeKalb, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019, at her home. Jaynell was born January 10, 1946, to George and Rene Woods Roberts. She was a retired Registered Nurse and attended God's Little Acre Church in Simms, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Eugene Burgess; and a brother, George "Sonny" Roberts. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Beverley and Doyle Sikes of DeKalb, Texas and Sandra Burgess of Texarkana, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keithley and Wynter Burgess of Texarkana, Texas, and Ray and Maggie Burgess of Placitas, New Mexico; a sister, Dorothy Oliver of Ashdown, Arkansas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion and Jeannie Roberts of DeKalb, Texas, Phillip and Sharon Roberts of Danville, Pennsylvania and Bill Don and Debra Roberts of Crosby, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Graveside Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Tom Cemetery in Tom, Oklahoma with Rev. Steve Minter officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
