ATLANTA, Texas—Brenda "B.B." Eason, 68, of Linden, Texas, died Sunday, June 9, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Eason was born Oct. 21, 1950, in Atlanta. She was retired from the Department of Defense, a former accountant with Red River Army Depot, and a former auditor with Barksdale Air Force Base, Shreveport, La. Survivors include her husband, Walker "Dub" Eason of Linden; three sons and one daughter-in-law, James "Bo" and Jody Crook of Wellington, Colo., Kerry Eason of Chicago, Ill., and David Eason of New Boston, Texas; her mother, Patricia Law Smith of Bivins, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Karen Johnson and Jim O'Farrell; one brother and sister-in-law, James "Dandy" and Penny Smith of Bivins; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter-in-law; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Colony Cemetery with Claude Crocker officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Colony Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to New Colony Cemetery Association or a favorite charity.
