Wanda MADDEN

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Wanda Jean Madden, 86, of Ashdown died Saturday, June 8, 2019, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Madden was born Aug. 20, 1932, in Hughes Springs, Texas. She was a member of Busy Bee Quilting Club and Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Madden; and one grandson, Eddy Withem. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Teresa Coward and Mary Ann and Rick Edrington of Ashdown; three grandchildren and three spouses, Crystal and Nick Evans of Ashdown, Carla Moon of Texarkana, Texas, Brandon and Taylor Harrington of Nashville, Tenn., and Roxanne Withem; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Madden Funeral Home with Dr. Robert McCarver and Corey Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Arden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
