HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Annie Elizabeth Hitchcock "Beth" Roach, 79, of Hughes Springs died Monday, June 10, 2019, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mrs. Roach was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Linden, Texas. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Brenda Roach. Survivors include her husband, Buddy Roach; two children, Wayne Myers of Fultondale, Ala., and Sherry Lacey of Gardendale, Ala.; one stepdaughter, Teresa Holt of Hughes Springs; one stepson, Brad Roach of Hughes Springs; three brothers, Kenneth Hitchcock, Royce Hitchcock and Wade Hitchcock of Linden; one sister, Jo Lawings of Naples, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hughes Springs Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Online registration is at reeder-davis.com.
