JEAN BOETHEL

ATLANTA, Texas—Jean Boethel, 91, of Atlanta died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in a Odessa, Texas hospital. Mrs. Boethel was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Cass County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Huffines Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. "Butch" Boethel. Survivors include five sons, James Trice of Daingerfield, Texas, and Sonny Trice, Buddy Floyd, Ray Floyd and Johnny Floyd of Odessa, Texas; two daughters, Jeannie Duncan of Paint Rock, Texas, Nancy Lynn of Atlanta; one brother, Charles Wayne Hilliard of Atlanta; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hanner Funeral Service with Ron Riemar officiating. Burial will be in Watson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
