SHIRLEY FRANKLIN

Shirley Ann Franklin, 66, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Franklin was born April 28, 1952, in Waldo, Ark. She was a former dispatcher with Texarkana Texas Police Department and Devine Texas Police Department, a former prison guard with Telford Unit, New Boston, Texas and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include five siblings and three spouses, Larry and Deanna Franklin of Kilgore, Texas, Mary Anderson, Kathy Willbanks and Andrew and Clara Franklin of Texarkana, Thomas "Tom" Franklin of San Antonio and Donna Franklin of Fouke, Ark.; 11 nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Online registration is at texarkanafuneralhome.com.
