DE QUEEN, Ark.—Gwendolyn Elise Jenkins Bray, 61, of Fouke, Ark., died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Bray was born Aug. 8, 1957, in Indianola, Miss. She was employed in food service with Fouke School District and a member of Fouke First Assembly of God. Survivors include her husband, Charles Dillard Bray III of Fouke; one daughter, Elisha Yates of Fouke; two sons, Joshua Minchew of Charleston, S.C., and Jerry Minchew of De Queen, Ark.; two stepsons, Charles Stanley Bray of Nash, Texas, and Brandon Lewis Bray of Hope, Ark.; four siblings, Rudy Jenkins of Genoa, Ark., Jerri "Peanut" Brisendine of Plaquemine, La., Susie Donaldson of Merrero, La., and Deborah Crossland of Fouke; 15 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Fouke First Assembly of God with Jerry Minchew, Keith Barr and Ray Reynolds officiating under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
