ATLANTA, Texas—John Thomas Toney Jr., 64, of Atlanta died Tuesday, March 13, 2019, in a local hospital. Mr. Toney was born July 31, 1954, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was retired from Southern Design Services and a Baptist. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Chelsea and Logan Reeh of Bryan, Texas; three sons, Jacob Toney of Bloomburg, Texas, Jonathan Toney of Atlanta and Dustin Ward of New Johnsonville, Tenn.; one sister, and brother-in-law, Anna and Pete Parker of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Dillon Ward, Olivia Ward and McKinley Ward; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hanner Funeral Service with Jon McCormack officiating. Burial will be in Huffines Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
