HOPE, Ark.—Johnnie Dorothy Ford, 91, of Hope died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in a local hospice. Mrs. Ford was born Jan. 12, 1928. She was retired from First National Bank, Hope, a member of First Baptist Church and a Korea War Army Women's Air Corp veteran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ford; and one grandson, Jay Beard. Survivors include six children and three spouses, Lois and Virgil Coleman of Fayetteville, Ark., Bobby Ford of Rockwall, Texas, Joey Ford and Cindy Bass of Hope, John and Norma Ford of Bauxite, Ark., and Jo Beth and Tom Compton of Bismarck, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Stan Paris and Lane Garner officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Corinth Cemetery.
