G.E. JENKINS ATLANTA, Texas—G.E. "Bub" Jenkins, 92, of Springhill, La., formerly of Atlanta, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in Springhill. Mr. Jenkins was born Nov. 14, 1926, in Winfield, La. He was retired from International Paper, a member of McLeod Tabernacle and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanice Peters. Survivors include his wife, Marion Walker Jenkins of Springhill; one daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Gary Faulk of Springhill; one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Terri Jenkins of Arnaudville, La.; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Marvin Lee of Stonewall, La.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at McLeod Tabernacle with J.P. Story officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
