Sylvia ALLEN

Sylvia Harris Allen, 97, died Saturday, May 11, 2019. Mrs. Allen was born June 25, 1921, in Sasakwa, Okla. She was a former business owner and a member of the Dancing Grannies and Open Door Baptist Church, Queen City, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Allen; two children, Wesley Everett Sr. and Kenneth D. Allen; two grandchildren, Wesley G. Everett Jr. and Jeffrey Allen; and one great-great-grandchild, Chrislee Steed. Survivors include one daughter, Judy Epperson of Oklahoma City; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Joyce Allen of Parma, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Patti Everett of Alanta, Texas; eight grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Hanner Funeral Service with Ron Riemar officiating. Burial will be in Laws Chapel Cemetery.
