LARRY FREEMAN

DeKALB, Texas—Larry Freeman, 77, of DeKalb died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in a Texarkana, Texas nursing home. Mr. Freeman was born July 21, 1941, in Malta, Texas. He was owner of Freeman Painting Company and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Max Freeman. Survivors include his wife, Durenda "DeDe" Freeman; one son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Angela Freeman of DeKalb; two granddaughters, Brittney Freeman and Riley Freeman of DeKalb; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jared and Marcie Freeman of DeKalb; one great-grandson, Zack Freeman of DeKalb; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Springhill Cemetery with Stacy Smith officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
