MAXINE ROBERTS

Maxine Roberts, 66, of Texarkana died Friday, May 10, 2019, in Houston. Mrs. Roberts was born Oct. 25, 1952, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a member of Holy Temple COGIC. Survivors include one son, Johnny Fay Roberts Jr. of Houston; two daughters, Antionette Anderson and Antranescia Roberts of Houston; five sisters, Ethel Washington of Houston and Mattie Robertson, Florida Taylor, Barbara Lewis and Juanita Hopkins of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Holy Temple COGIC with Dr. Roderick Hannah and the Rev. Herman Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
