Felix PERKINS

Felix Franklin Perkins, 72, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, May 17, 2019, at his home. Mr. Perkins was born Feb. 13, 1947, in Delhi, La. He was a heavy equipment operator, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the American Legion and a Christian. He was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Perkins. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Thomas Perkins of Texarkana; four sons, Terry Anthony Perkins, Jason Christopher Perkins, Michael William Perkins and Kevin Owen Perkins; one daughter, Dana Michelle Hancock; two sisters, Alice Ann Horne and Mary Lou Anderson; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
