Kathryn Ludlow

DeKALB, Texas—Kathryn Elizabeth Mathey Ludlow, 79, of DeKalb died Friday, May 17, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Ludlow was born April 7, 1940, in Utica, N.Y. She was a real estate broker and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn. Survivors include her husband, Owen W. Ludlow of DeKalb; two sons, Robert John Ludlow of New Boston, Texas, and Owen W. Ludlow Jr. of North Carolina; one daughter, Loretta Mayhew of North Carolina; one brother, John Mathey of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Cenacle Catholic Church, New Boston. Burial will be in Woodmen Cemetery under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online registration is at batesfamilyfuneralhome.com.
