KATHY PARSONS

Kathryn "Kathy" Hughes Parsons, age 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, November 07, 2019, in a local hospice facility. Mrs. Parsons was born December 14, 1931, the only child of Sidney and Evelyn Hughes. She worked hard as a real estate agent and enjoyed helping people find their homes. Kathy was a wonderful provider and mother and most importantly, she loved the Lord. She was a member of Eylau First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Parsons, one son, Sidney Gerber and one grandson, David Gearlds, Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Gearlds; two sons and their spouses, John Clark and Jenny Pool and Matthew Randall Parsons and Tiffany Braley; twelve grandchildren, Kathy Sylvester, Marco McKay, Kenneth McKay, Jonathan Gearlds, Delisa Gearlds, Jeffrey Gearlds, David Gearlds, Jr., Jenna Ganjizadeh, Kimberly Pool, William Pool, Zander Capps, Logan Parsons, and Ryder Parsons; along with several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday, November 11, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Pastor Orlandus Green officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
