RUBY BIVENS

Ruby Imogene Bivens, 98, of Texarkana, Texas passed away after a lengthy illness at Cornerstone on November 13, 2019. She was born August 26, 1921 in Redwater, Texas. She worked as a Deputy Tax Assessor for the City of Texarkana, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Bede Clary; her husband Earnest Bivens; and two brothers Dexter Clary and Vasal Clary. She is survived by her son Harrell Bivens and wife Rita; two grandsons Brent Bivens and wife Christie & Matt Bivens and wife Stefan; three great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will greet guests at 12PM on Saturday November 16, 2019 at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Burial will be a private, family only, event. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Mrs. Bivens name to Williams Memorial United Methodist Church at 4000 Moores Ln. Texarkana, Texas 75503.
