SHIRLEY FAYE THOMPSON

Shirley Faye Thompson, age 75 of New Boston, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at her residence. Ms. Thompson was born April 10, 1944 in Hooks, Texas. She was a retired CNA from the Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and a granddaughter Morgan Alexandria Mayes. Survivors include two daughters and one son in law Cindy Walker of Mayfield, Kentucky, Carol and Tim Waldrum of New Boston, Texas, one son, Lee Mayes of Lawton, Oklahoma, two sisters, Allene McPherson of New Boston, Texas, Judy Rose of Gilmer, Texas, one brother, David Hilton of Red Lick, Texas, one special friend of ten years, John Collvins of New Boston, Texas and best friend Kathie Jewel of Texarkana, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Coty Black of Mayfield, Kentucky, Courtney Stewart of Lawton, Oklahoma, Donna Horak of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Ashley McClure of Carrollton, Texas, Stephanie Walker of Dry Prong, Louisana, Jordan Mayes of Austin, Texas, six great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 18, 2019 at Bates Rolf Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Minter officiating. Interment will be at the Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home, New Boston.
