MELISSA SANDERS

Melissa Annette Sanders, age 61, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, September 1, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Sanders was born May 5, 1958, in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, taking pictures and spoiling her grandchildren rotten. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Her husband, Leon Sanders, preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Billy Sanders, Jonathon Sanders, Adam Sanders and wife, Donna, Christina Sanders and fiancé Jared Byers and Chris Sanders; eight grandchildren, Dystinty Wooten, Joseph Sanders, Josh Sanders, Jayce Sanders, Jaydon Sanders, Lainey Sanders, Alivia Sanders and Trystan Byers; one great- grandchild, MalaychiSanders; three brothers, Richard Venable, Edward Venable, and David Venable and one sister, Rachel Rhoden along with many other relatives. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Josserand officiating. Burial will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
