HAZEL YEARWOOD

Hazel Marie Yearwood of Texarkana, Texas died September 10, 2019. She was born July 26, 1923, in La Junta, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Hollis Yearwood and brother Leonard Bertram of Nacona, Texas. Survivors include her daughter Debbie Malan of Mesquite, Texas and son and daughter-in-law Kip and Neva Yearwood of Sanger, Texas. She was a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church and UMW. She was active in Epsion Sigma Alpha Sorority, PTA, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Texarkana Historical Museum, Ace of Clubs House and YWCA. She was a teacher at Headrick Oklahoma High School, bookkeeper at Fairmonts Food, Lawton, Oklahoma, manager of Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitors Bureau, bookkeeper and Co-Owner of Texarkana Uniform and Linen Service. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, September 14, 2019, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
