Kennith Alan Lane

Kennith Alan Lane a resident of Louisville, Kentucky (formerly of Texarkana) entered this world on April 15, 1961 to the union of the late Alvin and Zedia Hill-Lane. Kennith suddenly departed to eternal, rest on Thursday, September 5, 2019. Ken was educated in primary education in the Liberty-Eylau School District and continued in secondary education at Prairie View University studying in management. Ken received a job transfer via Radio Shack as District Manager to Louisville, KY where he remained with the company numerous years. Later he initiated a career change working for Axxis Inc., in Louisville, KY until his departure. Affectionately known as Ken or a.k.a. "Coach" leaves in sorrow, a son, Quentin Alvin Lane of Louisville, KY; a brother, Donald R. Lane of Orange, NJ; several aunts and uncles, Betty (Robert) Hunter, Annie Jewel James, Dessie Benton, Mary Jones, Arthur (Micki) Witcher, Conrad Block, Annie Jewel Dixon, Shirley Jean Dixon, Willie Mae Motley, Robert Dixon and Charles Dixon and many cousins, family and friends. Services will be Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the St. Paul Baptist Church - 2921 Norris Cooley Drive at 11:00 A.M. Pastor T J Roberson will officiate. Burial will be at the Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the directions of Haynes Mortuary, Inc. The body will be viewed from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church.
