I have passed this tree on my way to Nashville, Ark., many times and often tell myself I should turn around and take a picture. Usually I just keep driving, convincing myself that stopping will put me behind schedule. But today I decided it was time to make something happen.

Thankfully the clouds were amazing today or I don’t think it would have turned out as well.

I’m curious what you guys see in this…

I think for me I see┬ádichotomy in it’s purest form. The value of life and serenity mixed with failure and loss. Opposing forces in the same thought. Somehow it reminds me that we’re mortal, but there is beauty in that.
