Jennifer Perry Middleton is the education reporter for the Texarkana Gazette. A McLeod, Texas, native, she recently moved from Shreveport, La., where she worked in several media formats. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University and began her newspaper career at the Ruston Daily Leader in Ruston, La., where she worked her way to Lifestyles Editor. She enjoys reading, camping, traveling and gardening. Jennifer is the mother of two children.
