TEXARKANA -- Pain Treatment Center of America, currently located on State Line Avenue, is in the process of constructing a new facility on the Texas-side of Texarkana. According to facility managers, once the new location is ready, the whole practice will be moving there in about six months.

"We are an Arkansas-based practice," said Allee Griffith, practice manager as well as marketing manager for the State Line location. "We opened this practice in 2019. We rent this space currently. The company will own the Summerhill location."

Pain Treatment Center of America-Texarkana provides clinic-side services for office visitors, including ambulatory (outpatient), surgery center. The new facility will be a bigger version of the Ark-side clinic, and provide more of what they do now.

The new location will be on the other side of Summerhill Road from the under-construction Veterans Administration Clinic, which is also supposed to be finished during the first part of next year.

"We are excited for the new place, for sure," Griffith said. "We do plan on a big grand opening when the time comes."
