Seventh Street sinkhole ready for resurfacing near downtown Texarkana

The Seventh Street sinkhole that has reduced travel lanes is close to being repaired. According to Heather Deaton, public information officer for Texas Department of Transportation, Atlanta District. The sinkhole was discovered last weekend near downtown Texarkana. Seventh Street is U.S. Highway 67 in Texarkana. “Texarkana Water Utility put in material to fill the void,” Deaton said. “They used loose liquid concrete, which will sit over the weekend.
