TEXARKANA, Texas — Conn’s HomePlus is coming to Texarkana.

The national electronics and home goods store will set up shop in the former Albertson's in Town West Shopping Center, 2315 Richmond Road, said Skylar Rogers, principal for property manager Reynolds Realty Management Inc.

“Conn’s Electronics is a national powerhouse for electronics retail, and we believe their entrance into the market will generate additional opportunities for new tenants in the center," Rogers said.

The retail space, which is adjacent to Ross Dress for Less, is undergoing heavy renovation, so an opening date for Conn's has not been set.

Conn’s HomePlus started out more than 130 years ago as a small plumbing and heating company in Beaumont, Texas, according to the company’s website. It reports more than $1.5 billion in annual revenue and more than 4,000 employees across the southern United States.

Headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, Conn’s HomePlus is publicly traded and operates more than 155 retail locations across 15 states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. The retailer is known for appliances, electronics, mattresses, computers and fitness products.
