Game 2

Eagles 11, Jaguars 3, 6 inn.

The Eagles got the offense going early and often in the second game to back pitcher Mackenzie Vittitow.

Erika Richardson doubled in a run in the first, Blair Quarles lined a 2-run double to left in the second, and Macie Reeves had a sac fly in the third to make it 4-0.

The Jaguars (25-19, 14-10) scored twice in the fourth, but Texarkana responded with a 3-run outburst in the bottom of the frame. Sarah Velasquez's single and a 1-out walk set up Katelyn Slamer's 2-run triple to left-center. She scored on Richardson's 2-out single to center.

In the sixth, Slamer had a double among singles by Alyssa Gillen, Baylee Stautzenberger, Richardson, Laura Dyer and Reeves, ending the Game via the 8-run rule.

Vittitow worked all six innings in the circle, allowed seven hits and three runs, fanning three with no walks.

Game 1

Jaguars 6, Eagles 4, 11 inn.

The majority of the scoring came after the international tie-breaker went active in the 10th inning.

Each team managed just a run through the first 9 innings, but Gabby Mitchell put San Antonio in front with a dribbler down the first baseline with two outs in the top of the 10th.

Macie Reeves raced around from second on a bunt, which was overthrown at first, to knot the score at 2-all. The Eagles went on to load the bases with no outs on Meadow Gonzales' infield hit and Makenzie Moore's single to center.

A lineout and two flyouts left the bases full of Texarkana base runners to end the threat.

Peyton Vasquez's bunt single put runners on the corners for the Jaguars in the 11th. Julia Pinzon drove in a run on her bunt for a fielder's choice, followed by another by Vanessa Garces.

Pinzon scored on a wild pitch, and Garces came home on Britney Garcia's single to center. The Eagles got out of the inning without any more damage.

Erika Richardson led off the bottom half with a single to put runners on the corners, and Laura Dyer smashed a 2-run triple into the right-center alley. A sharply-hit line drive to third resulted in a double play, and the Jaguars collected another out to end the game.

Ebbie Rodriguez threw 117 pitches for the win. She allowed four runs -- two earned -- on 10 hits, struck out three and walked one.

Anna Westberry absorbed the loss, scattering seven hits with 12 strikeouts and no walks. Baylee Stautzenberger doubled twice, Richardson had two hits, and Dyer and Reeves added a triple each.
