Ned Cheever, aka Railhead Ned, of Texarkana, Texas, plays the Cajun accordion during the inaugural Twin City Meat Up on Saturday in downtown Texarkana, Arkansas. The grilling competition was a fundraiser hosted by the Junior League of Texarkana. "We wanted to create a new event to help out with Junior League fundraising this year," said Jade Harris, Junior League board chair, in an earlier Gazette article. "We lost our primary fundraiser, Mistletoe Market, these past couple years, so we wanted something else on the calendar to make up for its absence. This is something different for us, and we wanted to make it something for the whole family and a good event for the springtime season we are going into."
